"Seal"

With a lifelong passion for animals, a love for the outdoors, and a drive to always learn more in the pet care field, Lyn strives to give both you and your pets the best experience possible.

In 2019, Lyn landed her first job working professionally with animals at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. Here, she worked as a front desk assistant and dog handler, gaining experience in all aspects of pet care, including- daycare, boarding, grooming, veterinary care, and training. This later led to her position as a manager at a larger company where she learned more about dog management, hands-on experience with cats, and sparked her interest in starting her own pet care business.

Trail Waggers Pet Care was brought to life in 2023, where Lyn’s passion is to provide 1 on 1 care for pets, with special attention towards providing enrichment and structure to their services. Today, Lyn hopes to see Trail Waggers grow to be the area's #1 choice in care for their energetic, "high maintenance," enrichment-seeking pets.

Everything you need to know before booking:

How do I get started? To get started with Trail Waggers Pet Care, I encourage you to first read over my "Service Info and Hours" page to get an idea on what services I offer, pricing, and what hours I work in! From there, you can head to my "New Client Form" and tell me a bit about you, and your pet(s). You will be texted and/or emailed within 48 hours (may be longer if it's a holiday, or I am on vacation), and a profile will be created for you in my booking system. A free, virtual meet and greet will be required, as well as a paid in-home meet and greet before you can book services.

Will I receive updates on my pet(s)? Taking photos and sending updates is one of my favorite parts of the job! Every service comes with a "journal" sent to your email with a description of what we did, how your pet was feeling, and typically 3-5 photos (photos will NOT be forced if your pet is uncomfortable, or hiding)

Do you offer boarding/training/overnight/grooming? Trail Waggers Pet Care does not, unfortunately, offer any of these services. I do, however, have many referrals who do! Never hesitate to reach out via text or email to help you find a service. If you are needing a nail trim or a regular brush-out (not for matting), you are more than welcome to add one on to a 1-on-1 service.

What safety precautions do you take for my home/pets? Safety is my #1 priority and I pride myself in working TOGETHER with the owners to ensure we are keeping each other safe, as well as the pets and home. This starts with owners giving me all information possible on their New Client Form, and giving detailed information during the virtual meet and greet. Once the meet and greets are completed and your pet is approved to begin services, you can rest assured that your pet and home are in good hands with a caretaker who knows first aid and CPR, and always has a first aid kit! Your home shall always remain locked, even while I am inside. All dogs are leashed with auto-locking, heavy duty carabiner, and never off-leash in a non-fenced area. If your dog is an escape artist/fence jumper, they may be leashed in the yard for potty breaks and playtime. All customer housekeys are secured in a sturdy lockbox at your home, provided to you at the in-home meet and greet. Keys are required for all customers- even if your door has an electronic code, to be prepared in case the electronic system fails. For the safety of both your home, and myself, no one shall be permitted inside your home. I will not answer the door to anyone during our service time, and it is required that any outside parties (family members, friends, contractors, and the like) not be in the home during your service time block. If there is a possibility that you will be home during the service, I ask all clients to inform me they will be home prior to your scheduled time block.
